I made two recent loops around the River South unit.   Photos and narrative can be found here:http://www.pnwphotos.com/forum/index.php?threads/ridgefield-national-wildlife-refuge-6-7-9-2018.18646/
I saw several yellow-headed blackbirds and  wonder if they are expanding their range to west of the Cascades. A pair of ruddy ducks were present as was a pair of redheads.

I also saw a two mystery birds: a flycatcher of some sort and a juvie bird swimming in a wetlands.  I would appreciate any and all attempts to ID them.
