> Yes, there is a Lake at Totem Lake! Even with all the construction at Totem Lake Malls, it is possible to access the Totem Lake boardwalks. This Tuesday afternoon I noticed a Great Blue Heron on a small nest in one of the ringing deciduous trees. Higher up in the tree was a pair of herons so close together they were almost snuggling! Maybe the beginning of another small heronry Other regulars: Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Red-winged Blackbirds, Song Sparrows, American Robins.
