Hello all,
Low water at the Walla Walla River delta today so we sat on the bluff
and scoped. Over 250 Dunlin which are expected but we did NOT expect a
Long-billed Dowitcher. 119 Tundra Swans were loafing and feeding out
there. Mike chummed for gulls - many gulls but nothing unusual.
One Tree Swallow was spotted at McNary NWR HQ today - we usually have a
few Violet-greens by now but guess they better wait as it was 26 degrees
in WW this morning.
Happy spring birding, M&ML
