Subject: [Tweeters] Marymoor Park Shrike 3-14-18

I saw the report of a Loggerhead Shrike at Marymoor Park, on Tweeters this
morning, and I went over to see it. I had no problem finding it, and I
took some pictures.

I'm no expert on shrikes, that's for sure, but based on eBird history, it
seemed more likely to be a Northern Shrike at this time of year, than a
Loggerhead Shrike.

Some of my pictures from this morning can be seen here:

I'd welcome opinions as to which species of shrike it was, and more
importantly, why? I'd like to develop my skill at distinguishing the two
species. I'd be interested in any opinions or ideas, in the spirit of
education.
