Calling all skilled naturalists! We are conducting a BioBlitz in Tacoma's Point Defiance Park on April 27 & 28. We are in need of volunteer taxa leads to take small groups (up to 10 people) into the park to locate and ID species of plants and animals over a 24 hour period. If anyone has the skills in species ID AND interest in engaging with community volunteers of all ages, we're looking for you! We have shifts on the 27th from 2-6pm, 6:30-8pm, and 8-11pm. On the 28th we have shifts from 6-10am and 10-2pm. We need leads for birds, herps, insects, plants, and mammals. Please email me if interested!
