A C. Nighthawk was present above the cliffs where the Tricolored BBs are nesting- on Tuesday evening.
CWR is an excellent place to view nighthawk activity when they all arrive in June.
Also, thank you for the post regarding The Tricolor location there.
Red-wing BBs are present on either side of them in the marsh. It is a great place to clearly see the differences, including vocalizations. One can also scope Yellow-headed that nest in the adjacent area of the marsh- which is on private property with No Trespassing signs nearby.
