Hi all,

Wednesday evening While birding in Kittitas County with Dave Swayne and other friends, Dave spotted what initially looked quite good for an Indigo Bunting (as viewed from underneath). Additional views and better study of the bunting revealed a defined wing bar. The wing bar along with seemingly "too much" white below supports Lazuli Bunting genes. The hybrid male Indigo Bunting X Lazuli Bunting may still be present as it was acting territorial and singing (INBU-like song). The location was in the Riparian stream area very close to the bridge on the Cooke Canyon Road. Photos of the cool looking bird can be found here - https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S45998357
