Chalk this one up to the "You don't get to see THAT every day" category. 7pm November 1. About 7 miles west of Rainy Pass on Highway 20 I almost hit a very confused juvenile Snow Goose running down the middle of the highway. I stopped and tried to catch him/her (I work with wildlife) to release in a more suitable location. I just ended up making the bird more agitated so I quit. I hope the bird made it through the night!
