Hello everyone,

now here's something to aspire to: to identify a triple-species hybrid
whilst you're out birding!

Detective work by scientists has shown that a unique songbird found by a
citizen scientist in Pennsylvania is the offspring of a hybrid warbler
mother and a warbler father from an entirely different genus -- a
combination never recorded before and which resulted in a unique
three-species hybrid bird

this piece, which shares the story of the birder who first spotted and
photographed this unique bird, includes LOTS of gorgeous images and video.

Please do share freely with your friends and other bird pals, on social
media, especially facebook, and on twitter.

thank you.
