FYI. While working today on east Marginal at about 9:30, I saw a large falcon like bird fly past and disappear behind buildings near the museum of flight in Tukwila. It was flying fairly low along the West taxiway of the field. I see peregrine almost daily here and this bird was much bigger with a slower flight style than peregrine longish tail, and blunted falcon wings.. Because I am working I did not have bins or camera and it was backlit so I saw no details. But size, shape, and flight style said Gyrfalcon..
Haven't seen it since but will keep eye out.
Have a great day,
