It appears that snow geese are showing up all over the place, mostly in the
normal places in good numbers. Then the single or 2-3 in odd places: Alkai
beach, a parking lot, etc.
I have noticed that the numbers of snow geese in fringe areas has
substantially increased early in the season this year. It remains to be
seen how this holds up over time. It appears that an substantial expansion
may happen this year.
Keep reporting flocks and singles as the season progresses.
