On 11/13 at about 11:30 am there was a pair of Peregrines attacking a flock
of Rock Pigeons (unsuccessfully, it appeared, despite repeated passes).
There was also a Spotted Sandpiper on the rocks below the viewpoint, and a
Ruddy Duck (F or juvenile) making repeated feeding dives about 30 meters
offshore, along with a F Bufflehead. Other birds in the vicinity included
a California Gull perched on a light pole and American Goldfinches high
atop the sycamores.
