Dear Tweetsters - A couple birding-related items to report.

1. Randy Robinson has made the Tweeters Archives easily viewable on
mobile phones. This was a bit of unfinished business that has now been
taken care of. http://tweetersarchives.org

2. A new volume of WOS's scholarly journal, Washington Birds, is now
posted on the WOS web site. You can read it there or download it to your
computer. There are many great articles in Volume 12, edited by Ed Swan.

3. WOS has now posted Christmas Bird Count information for more than 40
CBCs that are scheduled around the state. Thanks to Jim Danzenbaker for
gathering this information.

4. Check out the calendar for a number of upcoming WOS field trips:

5. Also check out the calendar for details of WOS's upcoming monthly
meeting, Monday, Dec. 3. Topic will be "Unraveling the Mysteries of the
Marbled Murrelet." Speaker is Dr. Martin Raphael. Remember that you can
attend this meeting remotely using your phone, tablet, or computer.

6. The Washington Bird Records Committee made a number of decisions at
its October 2018 meeting. These decisions are available at:
http://wos.org/records/votingsummary/

Also, the committee updated the official state checklist. You can see
that and download a printable copy at:

7. Finally, take a look at the new Birding Resources page on the WOS
website:
