This morning, I was shocked to find a Common Poorwill on the dirt road
leading up to Larch Mountain, Clark County, WA. First detected by its
bright orange eye shine, I wasn't able to get very close but did see the
fairly short horizontal body of the bird on the dirt road. It flushed
several times but I was very able to refined it in the headlights due to
the eye shine. Where will it go from here?

You never know what you will find.
