I spent a couple hours in the Kent area today (Wed.) and though it was very
quiet, I found a few interesting birds.

Boeing Ponds hosted White-crowned and Song Sparrows, BC Chickadees, YR
Warblers, Kingfisher, Ring-necked Ducks, Mallards, a pair of Gadwall, Am.
Coots, Pied-billed Grebes, a female Hooded Merganser and a Great Blue
Heron.
The power line trail at GRNRA had a Fox Sparrow, Ruby-crowned Kinglet and
Spotted Towhee. Van Doren's Landing had a No. Flicker in the restroom (it
left safely) and large flocks of Robins.

Best birds of the day were at the corner of 204th and Frager Rd.--a
Cooper's Hawk and a Black Phoebe, perhaps the bird that's been seen there
previously.
