Hi, Tweets,

There were many birders in Discovery Park this morning, but I'll just mention birds I saw myself: probably the same Brown Pelican flying south past West Point around 7:30 that was then reported by the crew on Alki Point (I was with Spencer H., who may have pictures); continuing shorebirds around the beaches including a Baird's and a Semipalmated Sandpiper, Sanderlings, and some Western Sandpipers; an immature Chipping Sparrow at the point; a female Harlequin Duck, and later a female Red-breasted Merganser flying around the point; and among the many Orange-crowned Warblers and American Goldfinches at Utah wetland was a Nashville Warbler (Spencer H. may have pictures, as he tells me he saw this bird later, too).

I heard no mention of Le Conte's Sparrow sightings today. It's been fun seeing so many people whose posts we read.
