>> Saturday in Walla Walla some friends and I were eating outside at a downtown restaurant watching 4 or 5 sparrows hopping into and out of the grills of parked cars and picking what we assumed were insects out of the car's radiator cover/grillwork and then eating on the pavement. They moved from car to car. We were very entertained and curious as to how they discovered this "buffet."
