Went to look for the turnstones at Charles Richey Sr Viewpoint,
Constellation Park at Alki yesterday at about noon. Joan Miller was already
there and we teamed up in our quest. We did not find the Ruddy Turnstones,
but did locate four Black Turnstones on the rock formation close to the
condos on stilts. Two of them had a quite a fight over who could rest on
top of one of the rocks! "Who is the king of the castle?" In addition, a
Spotted Sandpiper was "bee-bopping" all over these rocks, looking for
food. Not much else to report, except for five female Harlequin Ducks and
quite a few Caspian Terns, two Great Blue Herons, an Osprey and two fly-by
peeps and of course several Killdeer.

Good Birding!

Hans
