My son and I did quick tours of the River South unit on our way to and from Vancouver. Nothing spectacular except for maybe the sandhill cranes and the legendary white nutria.
I paid particular attention to photographing the eyes of the nutria, as I wanted to determine whether it is leucistic or albino. My photos of the nutria and birds can be seen here:
