Still lots of birds at Deer Lagoon today on whidbey. Highlights: common
yellowthroat, marsh wrens, still lots of black-bellied plovers in new
breeding plumage, >400 black brant where Deer Lagoon joins Useless bay,
good numbers of pintails, buffleheads, gadwalls, green wing teals, savannah
sparrows, brown creepers, lesser scaups.
