This week's post contrasts the early-season nesting behavior of our local Great Blue Herons with our Bald Eagles. Due to the intervening foliage, a few of the photos are a bit cryptic. Hopefully, my descriptions help to shed some light on these partially obscured avian activities, which were first time observations for me.
