Hi tweets,

I believe I have a sickly house finch in my yard. It was just feeding at my
sunflower seed feeder, and acting strangely. My cat was on the window sill
and the bird was flying at the window. It kept coming at the window and
seemed confused.

Then it was on the feeder for a long time and did not fly away until I was
practically touching it. I suspect its sight is not good. Then it perched
low for a long time. Looks like one eye is red and swollen. I have removed
my feeder. Sad and disturbing.

I've known about this disease for a long time, but this is the first sick
bird I've ever seen.
