Hello Tweets,
A thank you to Curtis and Bobby for texting me about the Black Bellied Plovers and Snow Goose at M St Marsh today. There were 3 Black Bellied Plovers near the shoreline of the big pond. Then I went to look for the Snow Goose that is mixed in with a huge flock of cackling and Canada geese in the back fields near the bridge at the end of the road. I saw the Snow Goose and then found a single Brant mixed in as well! Great to see a Brant in Auburn and add that and the BBPL to my Auburn patch list.
Curtis and Bobby also had a Pectoral sandpiper at M St within the last week, but didn't see any there today.
Happy spring birding!
