Never been before, and will now go in rotation, beautiful spot (bear in mind it is not the north head which I'd always assumed - but rather around the corner to the south on the Hood Canal side). Lots to see yesterday - classic looks at about 30 Surf Scoters, a dozen or so Red Breasted Mergansers, a couple hundred Brant, a handful of Black Bellied Plover, Horned and Red Necked Grebes in full tilt breeding colors, a Hairy Woodpecker, a Rufous Hummingbird, amongst others. Combined with Point No Point, a great half day birding getaway trip out of the big city...sort of a mini PT or Whidbey jaunt.
