"Ducklings, Predators, and Brood Parasites: a look at the challenges of ontogenetic growth, behavior development, and reproduction in cavity nesting Wood Duck"

Mitch will present his findings in behavioral development and how the developmental environment influences adult behavior and reproduction in Wood Ducks. He did his undergraduate work in ecology and evolutionary biology at Tulane University, and received a Master's in Avian Science from UC Davis, where his focus was on the transmission of West Nile Virus in American crows.
