Mitch will present his findings in behavioral development and how the developmental environment influences adult behavior and reproduction in Wood Ducks. He did his undergraduate work in ecology and evolutionary biology at Tulane University, and received a Master's in Avian Science from UC Davis, where his focus was on the transmission of West Nile Virus in American crows.

Washington Ornithological Society meetings are held the first Monday of the month, October-June at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle 98105

Social starts at 7 pm, and formal program begins at 7:30 pm.
