Could the "pale" Canada geese be late 2018 hatchlings that have not yet obtained full adult plumage and coloration?

Has anyone out there got insights into the very pale coloration of Canada geese. There are two at Bullard Lake near Spokane, along with normal colored Canadas. They showed up for the first time today. They appear the same shape as a Canada goose, same feather pattern just pale, toward a gray/tan or tan/gray color, white cheek patch, normal legs and feet.     You can view photos here: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S55063742
