Hello Tweets,
Yesterday afternoon while I was watching my son and the doors were open I heard a call about 4 - 5 times and it sounded like a Blue Jay call. We have resident Scrub Jays in the neighborhood so I know their calls very well and also Steller's Jay and Flickers, but this was different.
Is there something else that has a similar call to Blue Jay? Starlings are great imitators so that's a possibility. There is a Starling that is always doing red winged blackbird on the wires outside.
