Hi tweeters,

This morning I birded in South King County for a few hours with the
following highlights:

Swainson's Hawk - 1 intermediate adult circling over E Valley Highway just
at the King / Pierce County line in Pacific. First saw this bird when it
was across the White River and got great looks as it headed east overhead
and circled high before heading north.

Golden Eagle - 1 adult cruising pretty quickly north viewed from the Veazie
Marsh in Enumclaw.

Overall it was really birdy, clearly a lot moving. Other goods birds
included Greater White-fronted Geese at Veazie, a flock of 95 Greater
Yellowlegs in a field on 212th Ave SE just north of 164, and Lesser
Yellowlegs in a couple of places in Enumclaw as well.

Good birding,

Sam Terry
