Hi Tweets -
I spent the weekend driving around eastern WA - with the exception of a WILLET in Walla Walla Co. at the River Dellta Sunday morning, I didn't find anything surprising. But a lot of nice spring returnees -;
Western Kingbirds - present in many spots along the way including Sprague, Washtucna, Columbia & Garfield Counties & Walla Wala
House Wrens - didn't hear any Saturday, but Sunday they were back in force in Walla Walla county - great to hear their racket again.

Other enjoyable spring birds included Black-necked Stilts and American Avocets in several spots, and Swainson's Hawks pretty thick [along with a few still-lingering Rough-legged Hawks].

One thing I wanted to mention - this time of year is a great time to make use of the arrival and departure charts Marv Breece put together [available at: http://wos.org/documents/Occurrence/ <http://wos.org/documents/Occurrence/> ]
I always find myself impatient for the return of spring birds [when one person reports a species on eBird or Tweeters, it makes me think they should be back in force] -; Warblers seem to take forever to arrive every spring, but they are right on schedule if you look at something like the seasonal occurence charts Marv provided.
