Tweeters,
At Bottle Beach waiting on the tide and the shorebirds to move in, when I spotted a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE on a dead shrub right at the beach. It dropped down several times to snag stuff off the sand, then returned to perch. Had nearly an hour view of this activity, but we left because a Peregrine Falcon, and then a Merlin chased the many-thousands of shorebirds off to the northwest.

A photographer (Andy from Edmonds) took photos of the solitaire, which I'll post on eBird when I get them.
