Dear Tweeters,
The male Black-headed Grosbeak at my feeder this morning (April 26th) was, I think, the earliest I have ever seen one in Washington.
I also saw a small flock of Least Sandpipers in a field just north of my house, one of the very few times I have seen that species here for my yard list. Thank goodness for field puddles and mud.
