Subject: [Tweeters] Bird Feeders and Table Mountain note

I have lots of gray & black squirrels in and around my yard, maybe 8 sometimes.
When I moved here a few years ago it took a bit to get my feeders placed so the squirrels could not jump up to, over from or drop from places to get to the feeder. The biggest help is a black dish I get from Lowe's that slides up the pole and is secured from sliding down but still tilts if a squirrel by chance gets ahold of the edge. I've seen others with a smaller diameter that they seem to get around easier.
We now live in harmony with them, giving them treats, a water dish and enjoy watching their crazy energy race around.

Separate note: Table Mountain hike from Artist Point as of yesterday afternoon. The trail is in good shape. Good viewings of juvenile Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch, juvenile Hermit Trush ( https://flic.kr/p/2gNLqZs), and 3 Sooty Grouse, expected to see young with them but did not. Pikas (https://flic.kr/p/2gNLoMh )calling and in view but no marmots were seen or heard.

Cheers
