Hi Tweets,

A bit out of our region -; but I couldn't help sharing this remarkable discovery<https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/06/science/giant-parrot-new-zealand.html> from the South Island of New Zealand. The bones of Heracles inexpectatus were found wrongly categorized among a collection of raptor bones due to their huge size, until grad student Ellen Mather recently discovered the mistake. Boy do I wish I could see a live one; the smaller kakapo are intriguing enough!

Cheers,
Trileigh
