Dear Tweeters,
In late November or so, I plan to go to Argentina, with a side-trip to Uruguay and a bit over the border into Brazil. I am being very lazy about planning, and need to get going on this.
I plan to stay down there for a month or more, and don't really want to take any kind of package trip with a tour company. I hope to head down the coast of Argentina and get down in the south. My Argentine life list is one species as of right now--I went there in the 1980's, before there was a good bird book for the country!
If anyone in Tweeterdom has suggestions on the following items, I'd love to hear them.
--Bird books for that region.
--Places to bird in Argentina, Uruguay, and extreme SE Brazil.
--Ideas on car rental.
