Our Pilchuck Audubon group birded our on Whidbey today. Our highlight was hundreds of Red-necked Phalaropes off of Dave Mackie Park in Maxwelton Beach (minimum of 300 each), along with numerous Bonaparte's Gulls and a dozen or more Red-necked Grebes. Nearby at Sunlight Beach, there were about 110 American White Pelicans on Useless Bay. There were another 30 or so at Deer Lagoon and 13 at Crockett Lake.

At least 3 Baird's Sandpipers at Crocket, but no Red Knot.
