Today Janeanne Houston and I saw the bird, details to follow below - but
first we need to thank this community, without which there would be no
report here...

To Jim Flynn for clarifying the location of the many "ponds" in Kent, to Ed
Newbold, whose Tweeters post from this morning gave us hope when we were
about to call it a day (we passed it on, Ed), to John Puschock for
confirming that we did indeed have the bird, to Marv Breece for encouraging
the video capture of birds, to the many folks who posted to eBird, and
finally to the young fellow in the orange shirt who was walking between the
200th and 204th locations (we knew he had something when he did not come
back as he had been) - thank you, thank you all!

We saw the Stilt Sandpiper at the 204th ponds. Some might know this as the
intersection of S 204th and Frager Rd. Had to look through chain link
fence, but no problem. It was at the end of the boat ramp, as
mentioned by Marcy
D'Addio.

It was joined by a Greater Yellowlegs, and they hung out together for a
long time. A
Spotted Sandpiper joined them briefly, but moved on.

A short video of the Stilt Sandpiper with the Greater Yellowlegs:
