Hi, Tweets,

They couldn't be chased, so I didn't hurry: this morning, among more usual birds, at 8:20 a flock of three Long-billed Curlews plus one Whimbrel flew south over West Point. Jaw drop. I also saw a few loons, Red-necked Grebes, peeps, a Black Turnstone around 6:30, and a flock of over 100 distant mystery Larids. I suppose they were Kitsap County Bonaparte's Gulls, but at that distance I considered Common Tern, as I couldn't see white primaries. I hope we'll see more of both closer to the park soon.
