Subject: [Tweeters] Byron Ponds Yakima County

The water level is finally dropping at the Bus Road pond and the
shorebirds love it. Best bird today was a *semi-palmated plover*, see
complete list below. There were a few shorebirds at the west end of the
pond but the largest group can be found in the rocky mudflat that
bisects the pond. This area is east of the town of Mabton and west of
Prosser along Hwy 22 in Yakima County.
