Gene Revelas and I made a run out to Griffith-Priday State Park this afternoon in hopes of tracking down the Little Stint reported by Will Brooks yesterday. No luck on the Stint for us, and as far as we know, the bird was not seen today. We did encounter three other groups of birders at the site, including one who had birded there early morning as well as this afternoon. None of them reported success finding either the Stint or the Buff Breasted Sandpiper. We did however have a good time and it's a great time to be on the outer coast. We had decent numbers of shorebirds at the site including a Wandering Tattler along the Creek and a calling flyover Long-billed Curlew. A brief stop at the Hoquiam STP included small groups of shorebirds including 3 Lesser Yellowlegs and 3 Pectoral Sandpipers.
