No stint after a 3.5 hour hunt starting about 10:30am. Half a dozen or so
other birders were looking as well and we were able to see 2 Buff-breasted
Sandpipers, 2 Baird's Sandpipers, not many peeps in general, but they were
all Western or Least. Had a Whimbrel and 2 Short-billed Dowitchers.
Virtually all of the shorebirds were along the creek as it parallels the
ocean, not at the creek mouth coming down to meet the sea.

If you haven't been to Griffiths-Priday, there is a trail that heads
through the dunes toward the creek. This trail starts behind the
bathrooms. The creek looks like good habitat so poke up and down that for
a bit, then follow the creek mouth to the shore (lots of gulls and Caspian
Terns). I wore keen sandals and shorts which made creek crossing easy.
Beautiful day!

Good luck if you go!
