Hi all,

While I can't say with certainty that nesting occurs in the immediate area, though it would seem very probable, noting Black Swifts at the Cape Flattery overlook on a morning visit in late summer is a near slam dunk. I would go so far as to say it is likely the most reliable place and time to see Black Swifts in Washington. It is almost as though they do some sort of display flight ritual after departing assumed nesting spots. Oh, and the sea-watching can be quite impressive as well.
