Hello Tweeters,

Our schedule hasn't allowed us to dash off to Copalis Beach
to see the Mountain Plover, and we didn't know about the Ross's Gull until
it had been eaten (sob!). So we have had to content ourselves with looking
at our backyard birds. Today was a pretty good day. We saw 4 species of
woodpecker at our feeders-Pileated, Hairy, Downy, and Northern Flicker-the
ones you would expect, but still. And we had our first new yard bird in
over a month, a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Don't all yawn at once now. I've
attached my Ebird list here if you want to see the photographs. We are now
at 58 yard birds for the year.
