Nadine, the beeline approach is probably not feasible as the two spots (I received the Wa location yesterday) are 6.4 miles apart and up/down river from each other, and not straight across.

Hi Bob, The info was posted on our Washington Bird Photography group on
Facebook, yesterday, but the comments with the location seem to have been deleted by Jonathan. However,
the few folks who read the info may remember the details and send them to you. You can find Jonathan through that Facebook Group and message him.

Some folks surmised that this *probably* is the same bird that was very recently seen on
the other side of the river, in Oregon. Perhaps finding the
location info for the Oregon sighting, and then making a beeline across the river for
WA might work. Let us know how you get on.

Propitious birding!

Nadine
