Birded Copalis beach from 9:30am to 11:00am. First found was the Glaucus Gull at the point where the river met the sea taking a nap.Help from 2 other birders ID'd Thayers Gull, California,  Western, Mew and Glaucus-winged Gulls. Sandpipers, Dunlin, Semi-palmiated Plovers, Black-bellied and some Snowy Plovers  and the Mountain made for a 4 Plover day. Weather was nice and rain held off until we made it back to the cars.Missed the Lesser Black Backed Gull in Renton. What with them all roosting in the hundreds it was like a needle in a haystack with failing light.Another day perhaps.
