Hello all,

Lower Monumental Dam in Walla Walla County is currently hosting many
hundreds of gulls, cormorants, mergansers and goldeneye. Among the gulls
today we found a SLATY-BACKED, LESSER BLACK-BACKED and a Thayer's among
the California, Herring and Ring-billed.

The Slaty-backed may be the same one that Chris Lindsey found here in
January of 2016 - and was seen the last two winters at the Yakima Delta
in Kennewick, WA.

This bird was #265 for the Walla Walla county year list - beat last
years record 264.

Happy birding all, ML
