i spent almost two years in the hastings/st leonard's area... best birding
by far for me was around the town of Rye and out and around the camber
castle... all sorts of coastal birds and more than a few raptors. the
area is a conservation area, easily walkable in most locations, and also
has many blinds from which to watch birds closer...
