Hi Tweets

I arrived at McCollum Park in SE Everett at a little after 8 this morning. I
walked behind the Nature Center in the garden area between it and the
Education Bldg. Within about 5 minutes (still pretty dark) the Townsend's
Solitaire flew out of the bushes that still have some fruits and up high
into a bare deciduous tree. It frustratingly remained there for close to 15
minutes - visible thru binoculars, but dimly. When a Towhee flew into the
fruiting bushes the Solitaire flew down to them. I watched it until, at
times quite close, until about 8:30 AM when it flew back up into the high
tree.

Nice to see!

Good Birding,
