Still getting the varied thrush feeding in the yard as we still have about 4 inches of snow on the ground. But yesterday on the way home down North Shore Rd I saw the first budding of Coltsfoot poking up through the leaf litter. Found a mislaid yellow crocus flower on the sidewalk in Shelton yesterday also. Now we just need to update the weatherman.
