The following link is to an article about the wave of sick bald eagles
being treated at MARS on Vancouver Island, BC. Seven who have died are
being tested to try and determine what is causing the illness. Ten eagles
have been rescued and brought in to MARS Wildlife Rescue Centre in just two
weeks.

Please keep a close watch for any bald eagles showing signs of respiratory
distress or illness, especially in the Vancouver BC and surrounding areas.
Know who to call for rescue and the location of the nearest wildlife
rehabilitation centre who can treat bald eagles.
