Hey!

Mid morning on Friday, Inge and I blew into Hayton/Fir Island Reserve.
Sequentially, we saw the gyrfalcon, a red-tail, a peregrine, eagle,
shrike and harrier--before we reached the parking lot.  Later, at east
90, a short-eared owl was posing on a fence post while the local
rough-legged was hovering in the wind. Exiting the Skagit, a kestrel was
phone-lining on Best Rd (what's with these young birds and phones?!).
As always, eagles were at cockroach abundance levels.
